Asus K5130 desktop PC with DOS operating system launched

Asus has launched its K5130 desktop PC in the Indian market.

The Asus K5130 desktop PC is powered by a 2.8GHz Intel Core i3 3220T processor with Intel HD Graphics and 4GB of RAM which is expandable up to 8GB. It features Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0 that enables processor cores to run faster than the base operating frequency, as per claims by the company. The desktop supports data transfer speeds of up to at 4.8Gbps with USB 3.0.
The ASUS K5130 desktop PC runs DOS operating system and includes Ai Charger technology which claims to offer up to 50 percent faster charging speeds for all USB-compatible devices. The PC comes with 500GB of internal storage. Asus notes that the new desktop also natively supports hard drives larger than 2.2TB in 64-bit operating systems.
The Asus K5130 has been priced at Rs. 25, 800 (without monitor), and users can opt to pay an additional Rs. 5,950 for the ASUS VS197DE Monitor. The desktop PC comes with 3 Years onsite warranty.
Earlier, Asus launched ET2301, an all-in-one desktop PC, for Rs. 1,00,803 in India.
The Asus ET2301 features a 23-inch multi-touch full-HD IPS display which can deliver 178-degree wide viewing angles. It is powered by a fourth-generation Intel Core i5 processor with Nvidia's GeForce GT 740M graphics processor with DirectX 11 and Nvidia's 3D Vision technology. It comes with up to 3TB SATA hard drive and 8GB of RAM. The all-in-one runs Windows 8 and weighs around 11.6 kilograms. Asus ET2301 also sports a 2-megapixel front-facing camera with auto-focus and 1080p HD video recording capabilities.
